Dr. Mary Dobransky was appointed Dean of the College of Science and Technology for Bellevue University in 2009. She is responsible for overseeing more than 20 academic programs, 40 full-time faculty and staff, and 250 part-time faculty. In her role, she manages a portfolio of academic programs in areas such as biology, business analytics, computer science, criminal justice, cybersecurity, data science, emergency management, graphic design, health science, intelligence & security studies, IT, mathematics, multidisciplinary studies, nursing, project management, security management, software development, sustainability management, and web development. Mary's job includes managerial functions, budgetary and compliance oversight, and collaboration with community, corporate, and international partners. Mary serves on the University's executive committee and leads strategic innovations.

Before joining Bellevue University, Mary served as Director of Computer and Telecommunications programs at the College of Saint Mary, and she taught courses at Creighton University, Metropolitan Community College, and State University of New York at Binghamton.

Mary serves on the Applied Information Management Institute Board of Directors and the Association of Information Technology Professionals Omaha Board of Directors. She has served as Coordinator for the Infotec Business Technology Conference and as Co-Chair of the Association of Information Technology Professionals National Collegiate Conference.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Science in Systems Science from State University of New York at Binghamton. She received her Ed.D. in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University and completed the Academy for Innovative Higher Education Leadership at Arizona State and Georgetown University.
