Dr. Youssef-Morgan is considered an authority on positivity, psychological capital and positive leadership. She has been invited to speak, consult, and conduct training on these topics and others regionally, nationally, and internationally. Her past clients include American Family Insurance, Union Pacific, Goodwill, US Corps of Engineers, New York Public Libraries, YWCA, Nordic Institute of Occupational Health, R Communications (Spain), and others. She has over 20 years of teaching experience in higher education at all levels (undergraduate, Master's, doctorate, corporate programs, certificate programs) and in all modes of delivery (in-class, online, and hybrid; traditional and accelerated). She also serves as a voting member on the U.S. Technical Advisory Group, designated by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to create and represent the United States' view on global human resource standards. Dr. Youssef-Morgan worked in various human capital-related roles with global organizations such as Unilever, Shell Oil, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Thomas Cook, and Natural Resources Institute (UK).

Dr. Youssef-Morgan teaches human capital, organizational behavior, human resources, management, leadership, international management; statistics, and research methods. She is also a leading researcher, author, speaker and consultant on developing and managing positivity in the workplace.

Dr. Youssef-Morgan co-authored the two most authoritative books on psychological capital: Psychological Capital: Developing the Human Competitive Edge (Oxford University Press, 2007), and Psychological Capital and Beyond (Oxford University Press, 2015). Dr. Youssef-Morgan's research has been published in the Journal of Management, Annual Reviews, Safety Science, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Journal of World Business, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, Organizational Dynamics, Journal of Organizational Behavior Management, and numerous recognized edited volumes including the Handbook of Positive Psychology, Handbook of Positive Organizational Scholarship, and Handbook of Happiness. Her worldwide collaborative research spans North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She also wrote a number of textbooks on human resource management, industrial/organizational psychology, and statistics.
