The Course Materials program for students in traditional classes provides you with:
View the course materials that will be used in your classes. You can do this three weeks before each term starts.
The Bellevue University Bookstore digitally loads all required course materials into Blackboard and gathers materials that aren’t available digitally.
For materials not available digitally, you can either pick up the physical materials at the bookstore on Bellevue University’s main campus or pay $10 to have the materials shipped to your doorstep.

As a Bellevue University undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a cohort classes, you will need to find and order books and other course materials individually from the bookstore.
You will be able to shop the online store for all your campus needs. And good news – the Course Materials program will be available to all cohort students in the next few months!
You can get everything you need for classes and campus life at the physical bookstore or in the online bookstore.

Course Materials provides guaranteed access to required course materials, including ebooks, lab kits, art supplies or other such materials on the first day of class. The cost for the materials is very low and is included in your Bellevue University tuition and fees.
The University has rolled out the Course Materials program to all learners in traditional undergraduate, graduate and doctoral courses starting in August 2023 (fall term).
Traditional undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students will be able to get all of their required course materials for one flat fee of $165 per term.
If you already purchased your materials for class, you have two options. One, you can keep the materials you purchased and opt out of the Course Materials program. Or two, you can return materials that are intact and with unopened access codes for a refund and use the Course Materials inside Blackboard.
Your required course materials will be inside your course on Blackboard and the cost/charges will be automatically assigned in your student account. Look for communication in the course about how to access your materials.
Your Course Materials will be delivered to you inside the Blackboard learning management system before the first day of class. Physical materials, such as art supplies and lab kits, will be gathered at the campus bookstore. You can pick up the physical materials there or they can be shipped to you. If you choose to have your physical materials shipped to you, you are responsible to pay $10 shipping fee outside the program at your own cost: Access the Bellevue University Bookstore here.
If you drop or add a course, your Course Materials access to the materials inside Blackboard will be automatically updated to ensure you have access to the materials you need. Physical materials (that are intact) will have to be returned to the bookstore for a refund.
After your course ends, your Course Materials access for that course will be removed. However, you may be able to purchase the materials by contacting the individual publishers of the materials. Physical materials are yours to keep.
You can opt out of the Course Material program each term via a link found in your Welcome communication. If you opt out of the program, you will need to purchase required course materials on your own and that may cost more and take more time to receive. After opting out, the cost of course materials will be removed from your student account.
You can opt out of the Course Materials program up to 14 days before and up to 14 days after the traditional term start date. If you are in a term where none of your courses use the course materials program, you must complete the opt-out process to ensure you are not charged the course materials fee.
You can opt out of the Course Materials program here. You will also receive a welcome email from Follett (to your Bellevue University email address) letting you know when the opt-out form is available.
If you have physical materials, you will need to complete the form and email [email protected] to tell them you are opting out – even if you have not picked up or ordered your physical materials.
Yes, you can opt back in through the end of the drop/add period for each term. You can opt back in by using the link found in your Welcome communication.
You cannot receive a refund for the online Course Materials if you withdraw from class after the drop/add period. Some intact, unopened physical materials may be returned to the bookstore for a refund.
