Employer Career Fair Guide

Career Services hosts career fairs twice a year where employers can meet with students. Registration for career fairs is managed through Handshake. Employer registration typically opens two to three months in advance of an event. Specific dates and registration links will be added as they become available. This information is subject to change.

To participate in Bellevue University Career Services fairs and events, please ensure your Handshake notification are enable so you are notified.

Early Bird Registration Pricing! Available Monday, December 9th at Noon CST and concludes on Monday, February 10th at 5 pm CST.

Early Bird Registration Fees

For-Profit Organizations: $75
Non-Profit, Government, Education Organizations: $35

General registration begins on February 11th at Noon CST, with limited availability allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon payment remittance. Please remit payment upon receipt of the registration invoice. Failure to pay by April 18th may lead to the cancellation of your Career Fair registration. Registration concludes at 8 p.m. (CST) on Thursday, April 17th.

Registration

Employer registration opens in Handshake on 12/09/24 and close on 4/17/25 at 8 pm, or earlier if capacity is reached.

We only accept credit card payments. If this is an issue, please contact Career Services before registering.

Registration Process: To get to the career fair event page, either utilize the Spring 2025 Career Fair link, or follow the steps here to search for the fair in Handshake:

Select "Fairs" in the left navigation bar.
Use the filters and search bar on the left side of the screen and type "Bellevue University."
Choose "Bellevue University Virtual Spring 2025 Career Fair — All Majors" to access the details page. Register or view your registration, other employers, and contact information.
Click the blue "Register" button in the upper right to access the registration form. Fill in the required information and select your registration options.
Click the blue "Create Registration" button in the lower right to complete.

Career Services must now approve your registration for Career Fairs. You will not be invoiced until your registration is approved.

You will know your registration is successful if you see "Registered" instead of "Register" on the career fair page. Select "Registered" to view your registration and leave comments for Career Services at any time.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for registration cancellation must be made in writing to Career Services.

To cancel registration, submit a written request to Career Services, including:

Event Title
Contact Name
Invoice #
Reason for cancellation

A confirmation of the cancellation will be provided upon receiving the written request. Refund requests are accepted up to 14 calendar days before the event, subject to a $25 administration fee. Cancellations beyond this date forfeit a refund. Payment is still required for cancellations after the refund date, and future registrations are contingent on settling the outstanding balance.

Communication Details

Career fair information is communicated through Handshake. All representatives attending career fairs must ensure their notification settings are activated in Handshake to receive important updates. Refer to Handshake's guide on managing your notification preferences for instructions on enabling notifications.

Students will begin researching employers and job/internship opportunities a couple weeks in advance of the career fairs. To help increase your organization's visibility and catch the attention of students seeking opportunities, make sure you post your open positions on Handshake.
