The Military Veteran Services Center (MVSC) and Bellevue University Career Services are committed to providing you as a military veteran access to relevant career resources. We want to ensure you receive the support and advocacy you need to successfully transition from the military. We'll stand behind you as you earn your degree and begin a civilian career.

How do I get started?

  • Begin with job search websites targeted to government and military personnel.
  • Use the resources here for writing resumes specific to federal jobs, internships, and consulting.
  • Take advantage of all the Career Services resources which are available to students and graduates as well.
  • Create a LinkedIn account and start networking. LinkedIn has a site dedicated to veterans with one year of free access to LinkedIn Premium. You’ll also get unlimited access to more than 10,000 courses through their LinkedIn Learning platform as a part of the program. Verification via SheerID is required for access. LinkedIn can be a strong tool to help you remain connected with military members once you have transitioned.
