New Bruin Academy
Going off to college for the first time can be an exciting and sometimes scary time. If you are a new student, New Bruin Academy (NBA) is a two-day orientation designed to help first-year students like you transition from high school to college life at Bellevue University.
During NBA, you will be introduced to University resources that can help you succeed, as well as meet new people and have a little fun in the process. Be sure to attend for your chance to win a $1,000 Tuition Certificate* and other prizes.
Sessions include:
- Meet Faculty, Staff, and fellow Bruins
- Learn about classroom expectations
- Sign in to the BRUIN student portal, Cyberactive Blackboard, and Student Email
- Understand Financial Services and Scholarships available to you
- Tour Campus and visit important Support Services
- Find your classrooms
- Hear about Campus Life and Athletics
- And more!

Parent Session
College students are more successful when their families are interested in and support their efforts. The Parent Session during New Bruin Academy is designed specifically for parents and family members of new students who want to know more about the experience, support, and responsibilities of their student in college.
