New Student Orientation

If you are just starting classes with us, or returning after time off, Welcome to Bellevue University! Whether you live across the street from campus, or across the globe, you have access to all Bellevue University services!

Bellevue University offers New Student Orientation (NSO) sessions that will ease your transition to college. Held either on campus or an online webinar, NSO is your first step in becoming a successful Bellevue University Student.

In either session, you will have the opportunity to meet administrators, faculty, and hear from current students about their experience at Bellevue University. You will learn how to log into the different technology systems, as well as hear about all the support services available to you!

Be sure to attend NSO for your chance to win a $1,000 Tuition Certificate**

First-year students coming directly out of high school will attend New Bruin Academy

If you've missed one of our live orientation sessions

Pathways to Success

In addition to NSO, Bellevue University has created a set of modules in Blackboard called "Pathways to Success" to help you prepare for your classes and become familiar with University services. This resource is a nice compliment to NSO, you can still attend one of the live events even if you’ve completed the modules.

Follow the steps below to get started! Once complete, you'll receive a digital badge via email demonstrating you're prepared for success.

  • Log into Bruin Connect
  • Select the Blackboard chicklet
  • On the left menu, open the Organizations tab
  • Click "The Pathways to Success Community" group to begin your journey!
